Assessment criteria
Requirements and rules of passing the subject “River engineers and water conservation”
Field of study: “Environment engineering.” 5th term
Lecture:
To pass the lecture means to pass two written tests, where each of tests consists of 15 questions which verify individuals educational effects – 3 questions from each educational effect.
The necessary requirement of passing each test and obtaining a minimum grade 3,0 is a correct answer to at least one question for each group of questions and obtaining points in % : 50-60 % - pass grade , 61-70% - pass + grade, 71-80 – good grade , 81-90% - good + grade, 91-100% - excellent ( very good) grade
Project:
For pass ( dostateczny ) grade student can:
1) prepare correctly the classification of river water purity’s level based on the hydro-chemical profile according to given task.
2) 2) draw correctly the histogram of frequency of pollution incidence and to draw the diagrams of concentration’s changes during the whole research period.
For good ( dobry) grade student fulfils the requirements in points 1-2 and
3) make a general receiver’s characteristics on the grounds of the state of water’s purity and can evaluate the water’s quality under the obligatory regulations
For excellent / very good ( bardzo dobry) grade student fulfils the requirements in points 1-3 and
4) can prepare ( map out ) documentation concerning given task, to formulate the final conclusions and to compare the obtained results with the literature facts
Laboratory:
For pass ( dostateczny ) grade student:
1) knows the rules of withdrawing, consolidation and preparation the samples for analysis
2) can use on her/ his own suitably chosen methods and devices enabled a measurement of basic physic- chemical features of water in order to evaluation its current state.
For good ( dobry) grade student fulfils the requirements in points 1-2 and
3) can prepare and discuss the obtained results and to formulate the final conclusions on her/his own
For excellent/ very good ( bardzo dobry) grade student fulfils the requirements in points 1-3 and
4) can define the basic processes happening in water and evaluate the water’s quality under the obligatory regulations.
