Course content: Introduction to the methodology of forecasting. The role of forecasts in economic activity. Methods of gathering and processing of economic data. Types of forecasts and forecasting methods. Measuring the accuracy of forecasts. Forecasting based on time series. The use of adaptive models. The use of trend models. The use of artificial intelligence models. Methods and techniques of computer elaboration of simple and variant forecasts. Experience of forecasting in Poland and abroad.
