Course content: Sources and detectors of radiation and the rules of selection. Imaging and light beam shaping systems - elements, examplary configurations. Optomechanic documentation - basic problems.

Learning outcomes: Student can list and shortly characterize main types of sources and detectors of light. He knows which parameters should be taken into account to make them cooperate correctly. He can choose the type of the imaging system for the simple optoelectronic system. He is aware of the tange of problems and standards important at the design process.
