Course content:
Aims and function of sociology. Sociological conception of culture: mass-culture, culture and leisure.
Values, norms and customs, rituals and icons, stereotyps, kinds of social adaptation.
Leisure society and its problems: overconsumption, ecology, obsolescence of populace. The essence of leisure, social and philosophical understanding of leisure, creation of free time (globalisation, modern technologies, abbrevaiation of work time).Infrastructure of leisure; mass-culture, media, mass-touristic, mass-consumption. Leisure as a part of social capital; social activity, counterfeit and live style and leisure. Leisure and work time, constructive and destructive attitude to leisure. Social society as a sollution for problems of leisure.

Learning outcomes:student knows problems of leisure and role of expert of leisure.
