Course content:
Lectures :Basic theory photonic crystals. Transformation of laser beam by optical systems. Structure of energetic levels and thickness of states in laser materials. Homogeneous and heterogeneous extension line. 0D, 1D, 2D, and 3D structure Analysis of gain in laser materials. The parameters of laser beam in different lasers. Nonlinear phenomena in lasers. OPO and supercontinuum generations.
Lab classes :Parameters of laser beam. The transformation of laser beam by optical systems. Analysis of structure of energetic levels and thickness of states in semiconductors having quantum structures. Analysis of gain in semiconductors laser structures. Analysis of optical logical units. Nonlinear phenomena in semiconductors lasers.
