Selected Problems of Transmission Lines TS1A621355
Course content:
Design of resonators and high frequency filters with the use of transmission lines. Kuroda identities, immitance inverters. Frequency characteristics of selected filters and resonators.
Transient states in transmission lines. Multiple reflections. Matched-load conditions, capacitive load, inductive load. Computer-aided simulation of transients in transmission lines.
Measurements of parameters of transmission line. Time-domain reflectometry.
Learning outcomes:
Knowledge concerning the design and measurements of selected devices where the transmissin lines are applied. Knowledge of transients in circuits of distributed parameters.
