Course content:
Pulse forming circuits. Timer circuits. Basic transistor amplifiers. Linear and non-linear applications of operational amplifiers. Comparators. Output stages. Noise in electronic circuits. Analog filters. Sinusoidal oscillators. Monostable bistable and astable multivibrators. Voltage controlled oscillators. Linear and switching voltage regulators. Phase locked loop. Analog to Digital and Digital to Analog Converters. Selected integrated circuits.

Learning outcomes:
By the end of this course, the student should be able to:
- analyse and test electronic circuits;
- use laboratory instruments including power supply, digital multimeter, oscilloscope, function generator;
- measure parameters of signal (average, peak-to-peak and RMS value, frequency, period, duty);
- write lab reports.
