Computer Simulation Techniques TS1A300017
Course content:
Computer aided design for electronic engineers. Mathematical modeling of electronic elements and circuits. Models and macro-models. Lumped-circuit modeling of heat exchange. Elements of techniques of planning the experiment. Interpolation and approximation, linear regression. Analysis and modeling of branched linear electronic circuits. Methods of numerical solution of linear systems of equations. Methods of numerical solution of nonlinear systems of equations. Numerical methods of solution of systems of first-order ordinary differential equations.
Spectrum analysis – Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) and Fast Fourier Transform (FFT). Selected methods of optimization. Numerical integration.
Application of PSpice to typical problems of electronic circuits design.
Learning outcomes:
Knowledge concerning basic numerical methods applied in computer aided experiments and engineering. Working with PSpice. Benefits and limitations of computer simulation.
