Course content:
1.Theory of four-terminal networks:
Terminal description and classification of the four-terminal networks,connections,circuit functions and working parameters.
2.Systems with a distorted current:
Classification of distorted signals, their spectra, rms value and power.The analysis of systems based on Fourier's theorem and superposition principle.The effect of suppresion and peaking of higher harmonics.
3.Transient states in electrical systems:
Circuits description in a domain of the complex variable s and return to the real variable by the method of distribution on simple fractions. The steady and transient components. Dynamics of the phenomena in the first and second orde circuits.Transition of an arbitrary shape signal through linear systems.
Learning outcomes: Understanding and skills in creating and analysing the mathematical models of four terminal systems, circuits of the distorted current and dynamics of the phenomena in RLC branches.
