Environmental qualities in tourism and recreation TS04411
Course content: Classification of environmental qualities in tourism, Nature’s organisational levels, Characteristics of landscape level – a definition, classification of landscapes according to their genesis, components of animate and inanimate nature’s landscapes. Major natural attractions in the world. Characteristics of ecosystem level – ecosystem: Tansley’s and Sukhatchov’s definitions; zone and trophic structures in ecosystems; Circulation of matter and energy flow through ecosystem; Organisation of Tourism in lowlands, uplands, highlands, undulated and erosive regions.
Learning outcomes:Organisation of Tourism in forest, grass, agricultural and reservoir types of ecosystems. Organisation of health and recreation zones and sport events in accordance with natural conditions; Solaria, walking ranges - requirements with regard to natural conditions;
