Course content:
1. Introduction to parallel computing
2. Parallel system architectures.
3. Introduction to MPI. Send and Receive operations.
4. MPI example (Mandlebrot set)
5. MPI collective operations.
6. Other MPI functions.
7-8. Shared memory programming using OpenMP.
Learning outcomes:
After completing this course students should be able to develop parallel applications using MPI and OpenMP standards
