Signal Theory MKARN03021
The concept of the signal. Distribution of signals. Signals with continuous time and their description in Hilbert spaces. Signal parameters, correlation function and their physical interpretation. Signals with limited power. Periodic and aperiodic signals. Examples of signals of finite and infinite duration. Discrete signals. Sampling theorem. Integral Fourier transform. Distributions as models of physical signals. Dirac distribution and its basic properties. Comb distribution. Local frequency analysis - Windows and Gabor transformation. Power spectrum. Wiener's theorem. Dirac distribution and spectrum of the Dirac distribution. Description of the signals in the frequency domain.
