Programming of Control Systems MARSO4034
Course content:
Principle of PLC operation. PLC cycle of operation. Knowledge of PLC modules. A/D and D/A PLC converters. Programming structure of PLC. Addressing. Data types. Programming languages STL, FBD and LAD. Programming elements. Logic control instructions, data block instructions, counter instructions, timer instructions, math instructions, load and transfer instructions, program Control instructions and comparison instructions. Digital control algorithms PID and PIDD. Distributed Control systems.
Learning outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
-properly configure, programming, parameters set-up and service of the PLC controllers,
-describe and set-up the hardware of a PLC systems,
-programming and design of binary and analog control PLC systems.
