Programmable control systems MARN04031
Course content:
Construction, utilizing and the role of PLC in automation. Ledder diagram language and working with Cimplicyty Machine Edition software. Selection and configuration of VersaMax modules. Programming of simple control systems, programming of logic combinative systems, programming control ( sequential system) using timers and counters, using mathematical and relational functions, realizing of bits, codes, data and tables operations. Advanced mathematical and control functions. programming of PWM impulses generator. VersaMax controllers communications.

Student is able to design and program control system based on PLC by himself.
Assessment criteria
Lecture - written test, laboratory - short quizes (80%) and exercises raports assessment (20%).
