Course content: Revision and consolidation of the basic knowledge in the theory of signals and discrete systems (signals and their parameters, mathematical basis for analysis of deterministic signals). Analog-digital and digital-analog processing. Algorithms of Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT). The FFT algorithms and their implementation. Frequency analysis of continuous and discrete signals. Design of non-recursive digital filters (SOI). Design of recursive digital filters (NOI). The image and its discrete structure. Models of color. Histogram of digital images. Point operations on images. Morphological transformation of images. The idea of digital image filtering. Two-Dimensional discrete Fourier transform. Selected transformations of images.
