Course content:
1.Essence of effectivness and productivity
2. Economic effectivness, cost effectivness, income effectivness, effectivness according to profit, technical and allocative effectiveness
3. Effectivness of public and non-public units
4.Review of the effectivness and productivity evaluation methods
5. Technical and socio-economic concept of productivity
6. Basic indicators of effectiveness
7. Premises and application of DEA method in productivity assessment
8. Productivity assessment with the usage of Frontier Analyst computer programme
Learning outcomes:
In terms of object competences: ability to choose and apply productivity measurement methods and becoming aware of the specificity of selected indicators. In terms of general competences: ability to plan research and understand and interpret results.
