Business forecasting LS05269
Course content:
Basics of the theory of forecasting. The forecasts and their impact on the business activities in the area of logistics. Planning and implementation process of data collection and processing. Verification of forecasts. Time series analysis. Identification and formulation of various types of forecasts. Division of forecasting methods, their characteristics and classification. The construction of forecasts using different methods of forecasting. Simple and advanced models. Measures of admissibility and relevance of forecasting.
Learning outcomes:
Gaining knowledge necessary to formulate independently theoretical assumptions. Skills of processing information and solving the tasks of predictive forecasting. Knowledge of forecasting methods used in the practice of logistics companies.
