Integrated Management Systems LS04169
Course content:
Introductory issues: the notion of system, information system and information system. Characteristics and construction management information systems. The evolution of management information systems. The scope and structure of integrated information systems. The history of development of ERP systems. Functions, modules, and operation of ERP. Analysis of selected areas of application of ERP systems. Presentation of the systems available on the Polish market. Criteria for software selection and evaluation. Stages of system implementation in the enterprise. Analysis of the implementation costs. The most common errors of implementation. Sample modules of the ERP system and its usefulness
in practice management. Installation and maintenance of ERP systems. Tendencies of development of ERP systems.
Learning outcomes:
students will gain practical knowledge of the use of integrated information systems.
