Course content: Introduction to the methodology of forecasting. The role of forecasts in economic activity. Methods of data collection and processing of economic information. Types of forecasts and forecasting methods. Measuring the accuracy of forecasts. Forecasting based on time series. The use of adaptive models. The use of trend models. The use of models of artificial intelligence. Forecasting by historical analogy. Methods and computer technology to develop simple and variant projections. Previous experience of forecasting in Poland and abroad.
