Description:
Foundations and aims of the object: the theoretical and practical preparation of students to the professional tourism management on protected areas. The purchase of the skill to main threats of identification connected with the tourism development on protected areas and initiations in effect modern tools of the tourism management. Contain: 1) Basic types of protected areas in Poland and in the world and their forms of sharing for tourism: national park, nature reserve, landscape park, protected landscape area, forms of personal protective equipment biosphere reserve, Natura 2000 network ECONET, others, 2) The stages of the planning process for sustainable tourism in protected areas. Cross-border valuable natural areas and eco-tourism. Resources tourist zoning in areas of various sizes. Methods and aims of calculating the absorbency capacity and reception areas of tourist traffic, 3) The strategy of ecological and economic development in protected areas. National, regional and local systems of indicators of sustainable development. Agenda 21 - a tool measuring achievement of sustainable development. Polish strategy of sustainable development - environmental policy. The design of development scenarios protected areas, 4) Environmental, social and economic factors influencing the development of tourism in areas of various sizes. Student’s projects tourist development of the various ecosystems. Assessment of the value of the environment for tourism development. Environmental impact assessment of various elements of tourism infrastructure at the stage of planning, implementation and use.
