History of Early Modern Architecture in Poland in European Context.
Content of the module: Presentation of selected buildings in Poland XVI-XVIII c. in multiple relations to main developments of European architecture: its relations to antique tradition, symbolic structures as political manifestations, palaces as ceremonial space. The course and with an oral examination.
Skills and knowledge that students will gain: Knowledge on the architecture in the Commonwealth of Poland & Lithuania and professional analytical skills to perceive European architecture of the early modern era.
