- Introduction to grid systems.
- Condor System – architecture for utilizing unused computational resources.
- Cloud Computing (Google Apps Engine, Amazon Web Services, ...)
- Globus Toolkit – middleware for building grid solutions
- Security in grid systems: certtificates X.509, credential delegations, proxy certificates, authorization authorities, certificate server MyProxy
- Web and grid (WSRF) services in building grid applications
