Course content:
Digital circuits fabrication technology on silicon substrate. TTL integrated circuits. Gate NAND. Schemes of TTL logic gates. TTL logic families. ECL technology. Monostable and astable circuits. CMOS digital circuits. CMOS inverter. Other CMOS gates. Dynamic digital logic. CMOS sequential circuits. Disadvantages of CMOS circuits. BiCMOS digital circuits. Analog to digital and digital to analog processing. Primary a/d and d/a converter blocks. A/d and d/a converters. Semiconductor memory. RAM memory: DRAM and SRAM. ROM memory: Mask ROM, PROM, EPROM, EEPROM, FLASH. Programmable circuits. Simple circuits CPLD and complex FPGA. Methods and devices programming lenguages.
Learning outcomes:
Knowledge of TTL and CMOS digital circuits.Learning of operation semiconductor RAM and ROM memories. General knowledge of a/d and d/a converters.
