Course content:The fundamental rights of electrical circuits. Symbolic method of alternating current circuit analysis. Issues of power in RLC circuits with sinusoidal excitation. Methods for analysis of complex RLC circuits with sinusoidal excitation. The analysis of magnetically coupled circuits and resonance problem. Transient current circuits. Circuit transfer function. The frequancy characteristics of circuits. Two-port networks. Introduction to measuring technique. Physical basis of semiconductors: diodes, bipolar transistors, unipolar transistors. Basic semiconductors connection topologies: operating point, operating status. Feedback. Operational amplifiers.
Learning outcomes:Ability to analyse simple electrical circuits and knowledge of basic electronic components.
