The lectures:
A classification of the ventilation systems. The components of the ventilation installations. The parameters of the internal and external air. The calculations of the agents, which cause the change of the air condition in the rooms. The criteria for the prediction of the quantity of the ventilation air. The air distribution in the ventilation rooms. The calculations of the ventilation net channels for the mechanical ventilations. The selection of the essential ventilation devices. The acoustic protection and heat recuperation. The adjustment of the ventilation installations.

Learning outcomes
Student has the knowledge of the trends and the most important new developments in the field of ventilation systems.
Student nows the standards, guidelines, principles of environmental engineering design objects and their components, and their consideration in engineering practice.
Student is able to obtain information from literature, databases and other sources, to integrate the information, make their interpretation and critical evaluation, as well as draw conclusions and formulate and fully justify opinions.
Assessment criteria
The student is required to make the project himself and participate in the calculation during classes.
5: student should give the project done correctly, demonstrate during the oral defense of a very good knowledge the issues (about calculations and drawings).Student has a very good knowledge of the trends and the most important new developments in the field of systems and technologies used in ventilation. Student has the knowledge about the air systems. Student has the knowledge necessary to understand the social, economic, legal, work conditions of sanitary engineer in the selection of the optimal solution during the installation modernization. Student can suggest improvements to existing design solutions, systems and environmental engineering systems
