Course content:
The natural environment - the basic concepts. The system of environmental law in Poland.
Biotic components - levels of biological organization. Threats and conservation of biotic components of the natural environment - the legal form of nature conservation with particular emphasis on environmental impact assessment.
Abiotic components of the natural environment. Climate and air pollution.
Water - its importance in nature and the human economy and security.
Soils - their formation, degradation and protection.
Landscape - as part of the natural environment.
Basic concepts of landscaping. Spatial transformations.
Ecological planning.
Learning outcomes:Students define the concept of environmental elements, presents methods for diagnosing the ecological balance in the landscape and development of natural objects selected.
