Course content:
Introduction to wireless networks.
Wireless RF technology.
802.11 network cards and interfaces.
Fundamentals of wireless wide area networks.
Security of wireless networks.
Applications, basis of design.
Troubleshooting, monitoring, management and diagnostics.
The future of wireless technologies
Learning outcomes:
Students will learn the principles of operation, installation, design and solving problems in WLAN networks (standard group IEEE 802.11)
Students will acquire the ability to define wireless technologies, configuring network devices and designing a secure wireless network.
