Summer Semester 2009/10
PROFESSIONAL ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS 1 ET08045
Course content:
Newest trends in the devices supports high-end applications. Embeddes systems (special-purpose computer system designed to perform one or a few dedicated functions). Application of the specialized programmable analog and digital circuits for the conditioning, mathematical operation in the measurement and control systems. Advanced electronic circuits in the regulators and remote control. Electronic circuits and embedded systems for the sensor technology (temperature, humidity, pressure, force, displacement, acceleration, level, tilt, rotation measurement, MEMS technique for the integrated circuits.
Electronic circuits for the motors control (drivers and controllers for the DC and AC motors, stepper motors, servo controllers etc.).
Learning outcomes:
Students will be taught to understand the role of the various elements of a instrumentation and measurement system and to specify and evaluate a professional electronic system for a given application.
