Electromechanical Drive Systems 2 ES2B200009
Course content:
Experimental verification of the dynamical equation of electromechanical systems. Investigations of the dynamical properties of the electromechanical systems. Simulation investigations of the nonlinear models of motors and power electronics converters. Experimental estimation of the electrical machine parameters. The investigation of simple electromechanical subsystems. Investigation of the interaction between power converters and the power supply line.
Simulation and project the drive system with:
- DC motor fed by thyristor AC/DC converter with linear and nonlinear current and speed controller,
- AC motor fed by DC/AC inverter with linear and nonlinear current and speed controller.
Learning outcomes:
Student has skills in use of advanced methods in , analysis, synthesis and designing of electromechanical systems.
