Course content:Selection of electrical equipment by PN, IEC method selection criteria end calculation examples of selection - circuit - breakers, isolating switches, bushing insulators, rigid and bridge bus- bars, power cables. Electric power substations - selected fields. Substations structures: general requirements, overhead and inner H.V. stations. Station control equipment. Measurement and performance network, fiber optic cables and optoelectronic equipment.

Learning outcomes:Selection of electric power equipment of power substations as a part of electric power system and analysis of construction of power stations.
