Theory of the Electromagnetic Field ES1A300024
Course content:
Magnetic circuits. Transmission line. Maxwell's equations. Boundary conditions of the electromagnetic field. Electrostatic field. Magnetostatic field. Current field. Poynting's theorem, electromagnetic waves, skin effect. Accurate and numerical methods of the field analysis.
Learning outcomes:
EK1 - computes magnetic circuits
EK2 - analyses transmission lines
EK3 - computes particular kinds of the electromagnetic field
EK4 - applies vector analysis and analytical and numerical methods to field equations
EK5 - finds information on the electromagnetic field from references and other sources
EK6 - illustrates the results of field computations in numerical and graphic form, interpretes and finds proper conclusions
