Course content:
Mutual inductances and the magnetic coupled networks. The three-phase circuits. Electrical power in three-phase circuits. The symmetrical components in the three-phase circuits. Transient phenomena in electrical circuits. Commutation laws. Methods of analysis of transient states in electrical circuits: classical and Laplace transformation methods. Two-port networks. The circuits under nonsinusoidal excitation. Electrical power in nonsinusoidal circuits.
Learning outcomes:
Ability to describe the electrical circuits under nonsinusoidal excitation and their analysis. Ability to describe three-phase circuits and their analysis.
