Familiarize students with the basic concepts and classifications for heat sources, district heating substations and district heating networks. Teach the basics of the heat sources designing. Learning the use of standards and technical documentation of devices used in the heat source. Design of a simple technological system for boiler room with given starting parameters.

Learning outcomes
1. Lists and classifies the main components of heating systems
2. Knows the rules of geometry and technical drawing for the preparation of drawings using CAD
3. Can, according to preset specifications, design a heat source
4. Can use the guidelines, standards and design principles used in the design of heat sources
5. Able to use the resources of the Internet and other sources to find information about heating devices
6. Able to think and act in a creative and enterprising
