The nature of organization of the road works.
The basics and organization methods of the road works.
The schedules in planning of the road works.
The tasks and subject of studies of the building economics. Estimation of the economical efficiency of the road enterprises.
The methods of cost estimation for the objects of the communication building.
Determination of the cost calculation value of the investment.
The types of the cost calculations.
DESIGN
The design of organization of construction of the road segment, including the cubing, selection of members of the work teams, determination of duration of the individual operations, network of dependences, work schedule, and the cost estimation for the individual works.

Learning outcomes
Correctly uses the work organization methods for the road works. Is able to prepare the schedule of realization of the road works. Is able to evaluate the economical efficiency of the road investment. Knows the methods of cost estimation for the objects of the communication building. Is able to prepare the cost calculation for the road investment.
Assessment criteria
LECTURE
Written pass of the lecture, consisting of 5 descriptive questions regarding the programme contents.
1) 3.0 (correct answers for 3 questions out of 5)
2) 4.0 (correct answers for 4 questions out of 5)
3) 5.0 (correct answers for 5 questions out of 5)
Notes 3.5 and 4.5 are for the students fulfilling the requirements appropriately from paragraphs 1 and 2, and additionally partially fulfil the requirements of the higher level.
DESIGN
Correctly prepared design of organization of construction of the road segment, including the cubing, selection of members of the work teams, determination of duration of the individual operations, network of dependences, work schedule, and the cost estimation for the individual works.
For the pass note (3.0) the student:
1) Correctly prepares the cubing.
2) Correctly select the members of the work teams.
3) Correctly determines the duration of the activities.
4) Is able to prepare the network of dependences and the schedule of works.
5) Is able to prepare the cost calculation for the road investment.
For the good note (4.0) the student:
6) Fulfils the requirements of paragraphs 1 – 5.
7) Skilfully analyzes and interprets the prepared parts of the design of organization of construction of the road segment.
For the very good note (5.0) the student:
8) Fulfils the requirements of paragraphs 1 – 7.
9) Is able to prepare the multi-variant solutions required in par. 2 and 4.
Notes 3.5 and 4.5 are for the students fulfilling the requirements appropriately from paragraphs 1-5 and 6-7, and additionally partially fulfil the requirements of the higher level.

The elements and weights influencing the final note: design – 75%, pass test – 25%.
