Arrangement of the objects of landscape architecture I AX05027
Course content:
1. Trees and shrubs in the objects of landscape architecture.
2. Hedges - types and functions; forming and creating ; planting and cultivation; arboreous plants used for deciduous or coniferous hedges or for shadowing.
3. Greeen screens and umbrellas - adaptation, species selection; condition of production and cultivation.
4. Arcades - ''then''and ''now''. Examples of adaptation of arcades in private gardens.
5. Covers and creepers - criteria of selection of species, requirements and cultivation.
6. Flowerbeds.
7. Seasonal flowerbeds - selection of species, planting and cultivation.
8. Grasses in arrangement of the objects of landscape architecture.
9. Plants in containers.
10.Grassy areas in the objects of landscape architecture.
Learning outcomes: Ability to arrange and cultivate floral elements in the objects of landscape architecture using available technical and material means.
