Course content:Alalyses of old literary text on art, architecture, alalyses of conceptions of art, architecture/architect/artist, beauty, functionalism, realism etc, in various cultural contexts (ancient, medieval, modern and contemporary: from Soctates, thru Plato, Aristotle, Horace, Vitruvius, Pliny the Younger, St.Augustin, St. Thomas, Alberti, Palladio, Vignola to Algarotti/Lodoli, Winckelmann, Crayle and Picasso)
