Course content:Compositions of atmosphere and it’s part in Earth’s heat balance. Reactions taking place in atmosphere, main elements cycle, acid rain, smog, substances destroying atmospheric ozone. Water’s part in nature. Characteristic of organic and inorganic components of water, the most often concentration, standard requirements. Physico-chemical and biochemical transformations taking place in water. Influence of those elements on the environment. Elements cycle, carbon, nitrogen and phosphorus cycle. Predicting results of presence of harmful and toxic substances in environment.
Learning outcomes:Extending knowledge about natural components and pollution in environment, migration of chemical elements and compounds. Predicting results of presence of harmful and toxic substances in environment.
