Computer Aided Design in Environmental Engineering ŚM1055
Course content:
Basic concepts of statistics and mathematical modeling. Computer simulations. Fundamentals of measurement data processing and research. Database. Biokinetic models, calibration, simulation of the water treatment system or wastewater. Modeling of water supply systems. Representation of the water supply network for the purpose of numerical modeling. Modeling networks of cooperation with the storage tank. Modeling of control valves for water supply.
Learning outcomes:
Knowledge of simulation programs for sewage treatment and water supply systems. Knowledge of the principles of building simulation models.

Student knows standards, guidelines and principles of designing HVAC systems.
Student knows selected computer programs for designing HVAC systems.
Student identifies devices in HVAC systems.
Student calculates thermal performance of a building. He makes multivariate analysis of the heating system loops.
